Blonde (2022)
Directed by Andrew Dominik (The Assassination of Jesse James), this fictionalised story about Marilyn Monroe stars Ana de Armas (Knives Out) and is based on the Pulitzer-nominated novel by Joyce Carol Oates. Adrien Brody co-stars. Featuring music by Nick Cave and Warren Ellis. Dominik says the movie, like the novel, is a work of fiction but "questions why she killed herself, so naturally it's going to be disturbing... There's something in it to offend everyone."
